PREVENTION

EDUCATION

Knowledge is power. Ending the Epidemic requires removing stigma and increasing knowledge about HIV. From school presentations and outreach in correctional facilities to workplace seminars and professional workshops, our health education team reaches tens of thousands of people a year.

YOU’RE THE CURE

Started in 1992, SAAF's “You’re The Cure” program has been providing health education services to over 10,000 participants every year. Our program is adapted to varying age groups, including middle school, high school, and young adults.

The program also works with local college campuses, charter schools, trade schools, drug treatment programs, juvenile and adult probations, and in correction facilities in Bexar County.

If you are interested in receiving health education services at your organization or business, please contact Education Program Manager Alan Mauricio, at (210) 225-4715 or amauricio@sanantonioaids.org.
