Services

We offer a full range of services designed to help people prevent the spread of HIV and also to help those affected by HIV/AIDS to live longer, healthier lives.

Community Based

SAAF partners with multiple community organizations to provide a full range of HIV prevention and care services.

Testing

We provide more than 6,000 free, confidential HIV and STI tests in Bexar County and surrounding communities each year. Testing is available six days a week at our testing facility at 818 E. Grayson and through our mobile testing unit – which travels throughout the area in partnership with local colleges and universities, pharmacies, corporate campuses and more.

Educational

SAAF reaches thousands of people a year with our free, targeted prevention education services and presentations.

Dietary

Good nutrition is a key component to successfully managing HIV. Our “Nourishing SAAF” program provides three free hot meals a day, 365 days a year, at our Grayson facility’s dining hall. If you are HIV-positive, all you need is a referral from your doctor.
